The Paper’s second episode did an excellent job at furthering dynamics they set up in the pilot, and filled in a lot of the ones I’d wanted more of. I see it clearly now: there are so many familiar character archetypes on this show, both from Greg Daniels’ other sitcoms and contemporary sitcoms in general.

The live-action How To Train Your Dragon was practically a shot-for-shot remake of the original…and it was the best live-action adaptation of an animated classic that I’ve seen since the 2015 Cinderella. Dreamworks blew Disney out of the water this time.
